Yes, that is MINI Durham's very own Hope Blooms pink MINI that was designed for our client, Kim Gonneau, and her fundraising efforts for the Walk to End Breast Cancer.  After making many celebrity appearances and being the center of plenty of photographs, MINI Durham is giving you the chance to OWN IT.

You might remember this MINI from when I blogged about it here.

Yep!  The Hope Blooms PINK MINI is up for auction on Ebay!  We are hoping to raise some additional funds for breast cancer research through this auction so please support it and buy this one-of-a-kind PINK MINI!  It is a 2009 Cooper that is originally Pure Silver/Pure Silver with a manual transmission.  It has a vinyl wrap done by the amazing guys at Shinzo Media.  They also did the EEMMC Police Interceptor in matte black.

Nice headlight tint!

Come on!  Snap it up!  It's for a great cause and it's such a head turner!

Pink MINI Limo Spotted in NYC

Adam's customer forwarded some pictures that he took while in NYC (a big thank-you to him for the pictures and photo credit goes to him!).  He spotted a pink MINI limo and was quick with his camera to capture some pictures.  Adam, being very detail-oriented, noticed that it's actually a converted CLUBMAN because of the roofline!!  I bet that roofline made it more difficult to attach the rest of the limo!

66 MINIs at SOMC's Fall Rattler/Bala Cranberry Festival Run

Hey MINIacs!!

I am now finished exams for a little while so I can start to breathe and work through uploading the rest of the pictures from my latest MINI adventures.

Last Sunday, October 18, 66 MINIs from the Southern Ontario MINI Club headed north for our favourite route that we've nicknamed the "Rattler". We go twice a year, in the spring at the end of April, and the Sunday of the Bala Cranberry Festival in the fall (October). Last year we had 56 MINIs turn-out for this event, and it was the largest SOMC gathering at the time. Well, our count of 66 tops that!  We also had a big turnout from the staff at MINI Durham, which was nice to see a BMW sales associate having a blast in a JCW on the twisties :)

MINI UNITED 2009: A Very CanEHdian DB!

I am finally working through my MINI United 2009 videos!  Adam and I took so much footage and I used a brilliant Sony HD advanced camcorder so the picture quality is top notch (except in the following video which was shot at night in the wrong mode :P).  The only issue with beautiful 1080p HD video is editing!  I was fortunate to come across Sony Vegas Pro 9 which is very helpful in editing the videos without a timely conversion to another format.  So here goes... slowly but surely they will be done (in time for Christmas).  Late but better than never - thank-you school for taking up all my time.

Here is DB from White Roof Radio (WRR) at Motoring File.  We were walking from the MINI Challenge VIP Lounge, that MINI USA so kindly gave us access to, and we were on our way to see the Paul Weller concert.  So this would be the Saturday night of MINI United.

Stella's Getting New Tail Lights This Weekend!!

I am so excited that Stella will be getting a new accessory on her bum: LED tail lights!

They will be installed on Sunday and OF COURSE pictures will come!

I'll keep them a surprise til then but I promise they will look AH-MAAAY-ZIIIIING! :D

Can't wait!

EDIT (2009-Oct-07): There's a delay in the installation (thanks to too much school work!)... hold tight - yeah I know, I'm anxious too!!! :D

Getting Ready for Another Year of Success at Bronte

Adam and I are just getting ready, putting our shoes on, and the finishing touches on our clean (gasp!!!) MINIs! Today is Bronte British Car Day and we're hoping it's as successful as last years'!

Last year, Stella took first place in the New MINI (BMW) Category!
